Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, creating an account, or using ContiTracker in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use ContiTracker.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the app after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

ContiTracker is a personal health diary app that helps you log bowel movements, stool characteristics, symptoms, and daily habits. It allows you to:

• Record and review your bowel diary over time.
• Generate a downloadable summary to share with your care team at your discretion.
• Track patterns and trends in your health habits.

ContiTracker is provided as a personal tracking tool only. It is not a clinical platform, diagnostic system, or electronic health record (EHR).

You must be at least 13 years of age to use ContiTracker. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.

By using the app you represent that you meet these age requirements and that any information you provide is accurate and complete.

To access certain features you will need to create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately at support@contitracker.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account.

ContiTracker is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The app is a personal record-keeping tool. Nothing in the app, its output, or its generated reports should be construed as medical advice, a clinical recommendation, or a substitute for professional medical judgment.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any changes to your diet, medication, or treatment plan. In an emergency, call your local emergency services immediately — do not rely on this app.

If your healthcare organisation requires specific compliance certifications before using a digital health tool, please verify that ContiTracker meets those requirements before deployment.

You agree not to:

• Use ContiTracker for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or to our servers or infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to scrape or extract data from the app.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information during registration or diary entry.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these restrictions.

You own your health diary data. We act as a custodian of that data on your behalf and process it in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Sharing is always your choice. We will never send your diary data to a clinician, third party, or external service without your explicit action (such as tapping "Export" or "Share"). You are solely responsible for deciding what information to share and with whom.

You can export or delete all your diary data at any time from within the app. On account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

All intellectual property rights in ContiTracker — including the app code, design, branding, and content we create — are owned by or licensed to us. Nothing in these terms transfers any such rights to you.

You retain full ownership of the health data you enter into the app. By using ContiTracker you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process that data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

ContiTracker is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that any data you enter will be preserved without loss.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of health records, or personal injury — arising out of or related to your use of ContiTracker, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or your use of the app will not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ContiTracker and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the app, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

You may stop using ContiTracker and delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your diary data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these terms, or for operational or legal reasons, with or without notice. Where we terminate your account without cause, we will give you reasonable advance notice and the opportunity to export your data.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of ContiTracker will be resolved by binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, as required by law.
